I did mention before I don't really have an historical background with books and it was something I did'nt really get into, but thinking back on a book which I really liked when I was in had back in the day was the stinky cheese man because it was so crazy and random, to a point your pretty much thrown into a world of anarchy. It was a fictional picture book and the art was so entertaining to look at it you could gaze at the picture for minutes.
Another book I was actually into was the Native Son, which I read back in highschool. It was a suspenceful book, where racism was alive and well. The book was really explicit and got me clinged on to it. Knowing how into the book I gotten, I could of got into the reading scene but I always had something else to do because reading I really despised at the time.
Last but not least, there was The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger, an author I can quickly recall cause I herd this was the same book John Lennon's assassin was holding while or after he killed him. The main character looked at the world as heartless and cruel; although, in the end he notices how an ugly world can yet be beautiful. The ending was really epic and well written, I though, since I visualized the ending so clear, and it was so relaxing thinking about it I thought this idea of an image I had of the ending can be therapetic to relax the mind.
